Ever wonder what critters explore the park after dark?
Join a ranger for a short talk about nocturnal wildlife, followed by a night hike on Catfish Point Trail to hear (and maybe even see) some of the cool creatures that come out at night.
Meet: At the trailhead to Catfish Point Trail.
Difficulty: Catfish Point Trail is a 0.95 mile loop trail, with some slight elevations changes. If you would like to reserve the GRIT Freedom Chair for this program, please email us.
Bring: Close-toed shoes, insect repellent, and water. We have a limited supply of flashlights, so please bring your own, if possible. Flashlights with red light options are the best for night hikes.
Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $5 for everyone 13 years and older, free for 12 and under.
Note: It is recommended that you reserve your day use entry for this program, as we often sell out on weekends. This program is weather dependent, and programs are subject to changes or cancellations. Call the park for the most up to date information. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please do not bring pets on this hike.
