Join us for an evening of astronomy! Learn about the what stars are currently in the night sky, and if the weather allows join a park ranger for stargazing or moon gazing.
Join us when the sun goes down at Goose Island State Park. We will learn about the stars currently in the night sky, how to use a star wheel, and if the weather permits look at the stars, or the moon!
When: 7 p.m..
Where: The Day Use Area
Fee: Program is free to all who have paid $5.00 park admission. Children 12 and under enter free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Optional items to bring: Binoculars, camping chairs, bug spray, flashlight. Please wear close-toed shoes, as the entire program is held outdoors. If not participants are present by 7:30 p.m. the program may be canceled.
*Weather Permitting* Event will be canceled if it is raining. Double check at Park Headquarters for event location.
