Description:
Let's look to the sky to marvel at the moon and see stories in the stars.
Join a Park Ranger for an evening under the stars at Goose Island State Park. Together we will learn constellation myths and other stories of the celestial night sky.
When: Saturday, July 31 at 9:30 p.m.
Where: at the South Recreation Hall Parking Lot
Bring:
- Camping chair, beach towel, or blanket to sit on.
- Insect repellant
- Binoculars (optional)
- Red-filtered flashlight (optional)

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.

Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
- Reserving your day pass in advance is strongly encouraged and can be done at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. Use self-pay station when office is closed.

Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
- Groups larger than eight, please contact Ranger Sarah for a private event.
