Description:
Many species of shorebirds visit Mustang Island during migration. Join us for an easy trip to see who is currently stopping through.
Shorebirds are a common sight at the beach, but their survival strategies may surprise you. This program begins at the outdoor classroom before taking a leisurely walk to the jetties to get a glimpse of the day-to-day life of shorebirds at Mustang Island.
Bring things for a comfortable walk: hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes. We have a limited number of binoculars to use so bring a pair if you have them.
Program is free but valid entrance permit is required ($5 adults, 12 and under free)
Program is subject to cancellation for weather
