Description:

Lake Corpus Christi State Park is a 356-acre park on the shores of beautiful Lake Corpus Christi.  First opened to the public in 1934, many of the park's facilities were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s.  Come out and go fishing on the pier or bank, explore the lake by launching a boat at one of the 2 boat ramps or by rentging a kayak or paddleboard, picnic at one of our shaded picnic areas, take a swim in the lake, enjoy the sunset from one of the scenic overlooks, or enjoy viewing some of the local wildlife.  The park represents one of the few remaining stands of brush land in the area and, as a result, provides habitat to a wide variety of birds and animals.  Nature programs are scheduled throughout the year and private programs are available upon request.  Contact the park headquarters for more information.
