Watch fun and educational videos to receive a free fishing rod at Lake Corpus Christi State Park!

Kid Fish 2021 has gone Virtual! During a 3-week open trout fishing event at Lake Corpus Christi State Park, kids age 5-12 can earn a free fishing rod and free entry for two accompanying adults. All you have to do is follow these 4 steps:

1. Visit Lake Corpus Christi State Park's Facebook, or go to Texas Parks and Wildlife Education YouTube channel for the Virtual Kid Fish 2021 video series.
2. Either print the Virtual Kid Fish 2021 activity sheet off, or pick one up from our Park HQ.
3. Watch the number of videos linked with your age group, and complete the corresponding questions/activities.
4. Bring your completed activity sheet to the park and receive your free fishing pole and entry into the park for the day for you and two adults!

Watch the videos and download the activity sheet any time between January 28th and February 14th.

Important Notes:

• The videos and activity sheet will not be available until the first day of open fishing, January 28th, at 8am.
• The fishing rods will only be distributed during park office hours, 8am-5pm, every day. 
• Only one fishing pole per age child.
