Description:
South Texas is rich in cultural history with several Native American groups that inhabited the area near Choke Canyon. We'll check out how they lived and make mini pots!
The three Native American groups in the Choke Canyon Region are the Coahuiltecan, Karankawa, and the Mariames. We'll explore the history and lifestyle of each one and end with a mini pottery replication and painting. We'll meet in the Nature Center.
