Join a ranger on a ride through the park to learn about the history and ecology that makes Goose Island special.

We'll take a casual ride on our tram through the park and up to historic Big Tree. There will be opportunities to get out and look around. 

Bring: Water, sunscreen, bug spray, binoculars (not required, but we'll see wildlife and you may want a closer look!)

Registration: Space is limited, so registration is required. To reserve a spot, email sara.rock@tpwd.texas.gov or sign up at Headquarters.

Accessibility: Accessible to most. Call Ranger Sara with questions on accessibility.

FYI: 

• Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.

• Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.

• Reserving your day pass in advance is encouraged and can be done at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. Use self-pay station when office is closed.

• Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.

• Groups larger than eight, please contact Ranger Sara for a private event.
