Stop by and fish with us!

Meet our park ambassador, Cesar, and fish with us! All ages and abilities are welcome. Come by anytime between 9:00-11:00am.

Whether you're new to fishing, or just want to exchange stories, you'll have a great time! Fishing poles will be available to borrow through our free Tackle Loaner Program on a first come first served basis. We'll have a limited supply of bait while it lasts. No fishing license is required to fish in the park.

Meet: at the fishing pier

Bring: sun protection (there is no shade on the pier), water, and closed-toed shoes. You may want to bring your own gear and bait as we'll have a limited supply.

Parking: There is limited parking at the pier. Overflow parking nearby.

FYI:

• Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
• Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
• Groups larger than eight please contact Sara Rock for a private event.

• Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
